Biography

Madison Wheeler joined the Chicago, Illinois location of DeHay & Elliston, L.L.P. as an associate attorney in 2024. Ms. Wheeler's practice primarily focuses on corporate defense and products liability litigation. Ms. Wheeler has tried several cases in Cook County, Illinois, and as an associate Ms. Wheeler assists senior attorneys through all phases of litigation by, among other things, conducting legal research, drafting and responding to discovery requests, taking and defending depositions, conducting document review, drafting motions, and preparing for trial.

Ms. Wheeler graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with her Bachelor of Arts in Government and obtained her juris doctorate from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2022. During law school, Ms. Wheeler received the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Worker’s Compensation, Trial Advocacy II, and Sports, Law and Justice. She was also a member of Chicago-Kent’s trial advocacy team and was awarded best closing argument during the 2021 Syracuse National Trial Competition. In addition, Ms. Wheeler was named on Chicago-Kent’s Dean’s Honor List for the Spring 2021, Fall 2021, and Spring 2022 semesters. Following her graduation from law school in 2022, Ms. Wheeler began coaching trial advocacy teams at Chicago-Kent College of Law, leading one of her teams to the semi-finals at Harvard University’s Inaugural Crimson Cup Competition.

In her spare time, Ms. Wheeler enjoys playing volleyball, spending time outdoors, and traveling around the world.
