Biography
Ken Tekell, Jr joined the Dallas office of DeHay & Elliston as a partner in 2022. His practice is concentrated in the areas of general civil litigation and toxic tort defense.
Prior to joining the firm Ken was Senior Counsel in the Law Department of Exxon Mobil Corporation where he managed a large docket of premises, product liability and maritime asbestos cases around the country. Ken was an associate attorney for 5 years and a partner for 10 years at the law firm of Tekell, Book, Allen & Morris where he defended all forms of personal injury cases at trial including slip-and-falls, automobile and trucking accidents and refinery fires and explosions. Ken’s career as a trial lawyer began as an associate attorney at the personal injury defense firm of Tucker, Hendryx & Gascoyne in 1992.
