Gary Elliston, Chris Manning, and Jeff Marosz Win Beaumont Case

In July 2007, partners Gary Elliston, Chris Manning, and Jeff Marosz tried the case of Shirley Melvin, Independent Administratrix of the Estate of Joyce Myers et al. v. Mobil Oil Corporation et al. Plaintiff's adult children alleged Ms. Myers' illness was caused by her household exposure to asbestos. The exposure was alleged to have occurred while Ms. Myers was living with her parents and while laundering her father's clothes. The jury returned a unanimous verdict in favor of defendant Mobil Oil Corporation.
